I’ve been looking forward to this moment for quite some time. In fact, ever since watching the extra features on 300 and a conversation that went something like this;

Frank Miller: “So how do you do something like The Watchmen as a movie?”

Zack Snyder “I don’t know. Very carefully.”

Truth be told, I’ve been looking forward to this moment ever since I first read the greatest graphic novel ever written.

Johnny Kelly is an Irish animator, film maker and all round good egg now working in London who recently released a film to mark the 60th anniversary of the UN Peacekeepers. If you haven’t seen any of his previous work, then do have a look at his graduation piece from The Royal College of Art, ‘Procrastination’. It’s been nominated for several awards and ultimately got him the UN gig. I’m sure he’s set for great things in the future.
